As an air compressor manufacturer, we often receive inquiries from customers. The company wants to purchase a batch of air compressors but doesn’t know how to choose or how to make reference. Here we summarize for you how to choose a suitable air compressor in general.
1. Air supply volume
(1) For example, the actual air supply volume is only 6 cubic meters per minute. However, purchasing an air compressor with 9 cubic meters per minute will result in a waste of 3 cubic meters per minute of air flow. Moreover, when the machine is started, the air supply may be excessive due to an instantaneous oversupply, resulting in shutdown or unstable air supply. The excess gas will waste and increase energy consumption.
(2) Because the selected machine uses a small amount of air, the air supply is insufficient.
(3) The design and installation are unreasonable. The pipeline is laid too long. The pressure gauge shows that the air compressor reaches the relevant pressure. However, because the pipeline is too long, the air flow is lost during the transmission process, resulting in a small actual air consumption.
2. Total gas consumption
Determine the total gas flow rate of all gas consuming equipment and multiply the total flow rate by a factor of 1.2 as a reference. Please consult the relevant personnel of Tektronix Air Compressor specifically to recommend a compressor with suitable air volume according to your specific needs.
3. GB standard
Comply with the national standards of the People's Republic of China, namely GB standards.
4. Energy efficiency labeling
China Energy Efficiency Label: Does the relevant machine have the energy-saving energy efficiency label that meets the requirements? Air compressors have a very wide range of applications and can be used in 80% of industries. Electricity loss accounts for a high proportion, so high-efficiency and energy-saving air compressors have become popular in recent years. Generally, energy-saving air compressors are chosen, such as variable frequency air compressors, oil-cooled air compressors, etc.
5. Price
The price of direct sales from the company's manufacturers is generally better, and the subsequent maintenance is relatively more thoughtful. Therefore, we generally recommend buying air compressors from direct manufacturers. The prices are favorable and the service industry is relatively guaranteed.
